I recently stayed at Fonagy Es Walter Vendeg- Es Borhaz Bed & Breakfast in Vac for a weekend getaway with my partner. We were pleasantly surprised by the charming Bohemian-style decor throughout the property. The host, Istvan, was incredibly kind and spoke excellent English. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the cathedral square and main square. We loved exploring the lush green garden and wine cellar on-site. And the breakfast served in the garden was absolutely delicious!
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was like a magical playground for them, with plenty of tables and chairs to relax on. They had so much fun exploring all the quirky decorations and unique items scattered around. It created a truly special atmosphere that made our family stay memorable.
My children wanted more activities specifically tailored for them.

The atmosphere of the place seems to be cozy and welcoming, and the vintage feel is quite charming. Guests may appreciate the host's friendly attitude and readiness to assist with various requests. the breakfast seems to be tasty and homemade, with fresh ingredients and even Istvan's homemade marmalade. the location appears to be convenient for travelers, with an easy walk to the Danube, train and bus stations, as well as the old downtown.
The boiler may cause some inconvenience due to occasional issues.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our Christmas getaway! We could easily walk to the nearby attractions and restaurants. the cozy room was equipped with a hair dryer and mini-fridge, which were very convenient. We also appreciated the warm welcome and complimentary festive drink from the friendly host.
The breakfast was below our expectations. the limited options and lack of seating space were disappointing.

Great breakfast and comfortable room with a good hairdryer. The location was within walking distance of many restaurants and tourist attractions, and public transportation was easily accessible. The best aspect was the helpful and friendly host who welcomed us upon arrival.
Our New Year's stay was marred by the lack of security. We were not given a key to the room and it was left open throughout the night.
